It was a hard decision to post here or in the House Of Life, but considering this topic is more about social then here I shall post. I said somewhere on here that finding a connection to ancient Egypt is enhanced by feeling as if we are living there now. Well, I suppose some ideas on how to do that would be good. Feel free to share your thoughts!
Here is a recent one I tried - very tasty it was too!

That sounds tasty, I should try to give it a go.
I’ll include it here just in case the link goes away. In particular the Dukka recipe with either some good crusty bread or flat bread. So yummy.
Dukka
2 tbsp whole hazelnuts 1 & 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves 1/2 tbsp fine sea salt 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
Using a food processor: pulse all the ingredients until they are finely ground. They should still be dry, so don’t grind them to a paste. That’s it!
Tear yourself a good chunk of bread, drizzle on some olive oil, then dip the oiled bread into the dukka.
Here is something else I made, many, many years ago. Took around a month. One of my prize possessions: A Senet board. So love this game.
Thought so… I did a video of how to play the game too…
