Hi all,

I know some of you would mark Wep Ron Pet in early August - I do partly too, however I treat that as a second start of the year (the ancient Egyptians did after all have multiple calendars and were happy to move them around). My primary mark of Wep Ron Pet is set from the early dynastic periods where the summer solstice coincided with the rising of Sirius and the rising of Nile; all of which now have largely separated over the centuries.

Anyone else goes for this time too?

Ok a few days before solstice and having spent half hour in the garden i think for the first time in a few years i have the desire to seriously mark my wep ron pet in the garden and maybe at my favourite spring nearby. The garden is full of fruit and my jasmine is about to burst into a smothering of flower and hopefully scent.

I shall be digging out my past plans. Have a good one yourselves. K
