I am just back from the land of Kemet. Temple sites were absolutely amazing. You get a lot of hassle though and any form of prayer or ritual is strictly forbidden at all ancient sites. They even close off the best parts like the Aset Shrine at Dendara or the Sekhmet shrine at Karnak.
However, the guide just made payments to the guards and I was allowed private access. These areas should not be off limits though so quite annoying that you have to make these ‘arrangements’!

Amazing!
Thanks so much for sharing!
I haven’t been there myself, but I’d love to go one day.
It’s a shame that they have closed off spaces and no prayers/ritual are allowed.

Great pictures I‘ve been in Kemet in 1997 and I could do a ritual in Auset’s Temple/ Philae….those where the days.
Now I hope to travel again next year for celebrating my 70th birthday
